Town and a number of other British clubs watched Levante draw 2-2 with Real Mallorca yesterday, according to reports in Spain. Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Wigan, Cardiff and Town are claimed to have been watching striker or winger Riga.

Town's run of away games without a win moved on to 17 after Coventry ran out 2-1 winners at the Ricoh Arena. Julian Gray put the home side in front, but Danny Haynes equalised before the break. However, in a dismal second half, in which Tommy Miller was sent off, Dele Adebola netted the winner.

Town's woeful away run continued as the Blues were defeated 2-0 at Leicester City. The Foxes scored twice from first half set pieces, via Richard Stearman and Patrick Kisnorbo, while Jon Walters hit the post for Town, but the Blues never looked like getting back into the game.

Town failed to break down a cynical and tedious Burnley side, who had midfielder John Spicer red-carded in the first half for a two-footed lunge. The Blues came closest to a goal in the opening period when Tommy Miller hit the bar. Late on, Jordan Rhodes made his senior debut from the bench.

Town continued their excellent home form with a 3-1 victory over Leicester City. Pablo Couñago put the Blues in front, before Iain Hume equalised. Foxes defender Patrick Kisnorbo saw red for the incident which led to Alan Lee netting from the spot, Jon Walters netting the third after the break.
